Reporting directly to the GM Supply Chain & Quality Assurance, the Head of Quality & Compliance plays a pivotal role in ensuring we are delivering on the highest quality & compliance standards for our customers. This role will see you working closely with our buying team and suppliers on new / existing products and packaging, as well as leading collaborative reviews of processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement and identify cost effective means to reduce product returns.

 

More about the role:

  • Lead & develop the local and international Quality Assurance team with the objective of lifting capability, talent pipelines and overall team engagement
  • Develop strategies to establish and incorporate preventative measures that mitigate product cost of quality
  • Assure ongoing compliance with the Fantastic quality standard and national Regulatory requirements
  • Annually review the efficiency of inspection and testing systems
  • Analyse and report on quality specific data to communicate outcomes of quality initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Investigate product related incidents to implement mitigative measures and quality improvements.

About YOU

  • Minimum 3-6 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Manager with a successful track record of leading high performing quality functions
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to implement and drive innovative, customer-centric quality solutions
  • Strong analytical capability, with knowledge of lean processes (ideally with experience in six sigma)
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement influencing skills
  • Any previous experience in the furniture/homewares industry an advantage
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
