You will work closely with our Buying and Inventory Planning teams to ensure that our Products strategy is brought to life successfully - the right products, right prices, right time, and in the right stores - to delight our customers and maximise sales.

Your remit

  • Ensure that product stock and sales are in line with business expectations, based on historical and forecast data
  • Developing a 360 process on all key marketing events by analysing history, planning our sale events, in conjunction with key stakeholders, to ensure timeous and appropriate range assortments are purchased. 
  • Conducting Post-mortem analysis on our two sale events to gain insight and key learnings
  • Monitor manage and adjust the implementation of the Products Strategy including, Gross Margins, Markdowns, Stock Levels, Weeks of Cover, and Stock Turns
  • Working with the Buyers, Marketing, Store Design, Retail Operations, and Visual Merchandising to successfully introduce new products and manage products through their lifecycle in the business
  • Manage our Dynamic Low Pricing model including monitoring competitor products and adjusting prices through a product's lifecycle
  • Introduce an assortment scorecard, facilitating the range-build process by understanding product performance and customer selection based on analysis of SKU / price / colour / form (design) and store performance

About YOU

  • You work hard, but can have a laugh and don't take yourself too seriously!
  • You have a successful track record in Merchandise Planning within a retail environment and enjoy implementing new processes
  • Highly developed analytical capability to inform effective decision making
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Team player
